Materials

Equipment

  • Distilled water
  • Cooling system/fridge
  • Teabags/coffee filters
  • Amber glass/tinted jar
  • Mortar and pestle/coffee grinder/blender/fining device

Ingredients

  • 100-250 morning glory seeds

Procedure

  1. Grind up the morning glory seeds into a fine powder to the best of your ability. Make the sure seeds are NOT treated with a fungicide, as most of them are. Untreated seeds are available online.
  2. Wrap the seeds into a tea bag/coffee filter and enclose it.
  3. Pour 200mL of the distilled water into the amber glass/tinted jar.
  4. Submerge the enclosed tea bag/coffee filter containing the fine morning glory seeds into the 200mL of distilled water which rests in the amber glass/tinted jar.
  5. From this point, minimize light exposure to the water.
  6. Place the amber glass/tinted jar with the distilled water which has the tea bag/coffee filter of fine morning glory seeds into your cooling system at 3.3°C / 38°F for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the amber glass/tinted jar from your cooling system. Retrieve the tea bag/coffee filter from the jar and press what remaining water is left in the tea bag/coffee filter into the jar.
  8. Ingest in increments over a 30 minute time period.
