Summary

The R-enantiomer of Ketamine is an agonist of the AMPA receptor and prompts the activation of protein pathway MTORC1. The chemical is currently in phase II trials for the treatment of Schizophrenia, PTSD, and Major Depressive disorder. Unlike its counterpart Esketamine it has no anesthetic nor dissociative effects as it's action is limited to the AMPA and Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptors.
