Stub

The word stub means something that is very short. On Wikimedia sites, a stub is a short article. When writers begin a new article, they use the stub template banner to show that people can add a lot more useful information.

To do this, insert the following text into the first line of the article:

This will display as:

Songbird-egg.svg

This article is a stub.

As such, it may contain incomplete or wrong information. You can help by expanding it.
