Stub
Stub
The word stub means something that is very short. On Wikimedia sites, a stub is a short article. When writers begin a new article, they use the stub template banner to show that people can add a lot more useful information.
To do this, insert the following text into the first line of the article:

This will display as:
This article is a stub. As such, it may contain incomplete or wrong information. You can help by expanding it. |
If you make or find a stub, you can improve the article yourself in accordance with our guidelines or add the task to our community to-do list. To find a stub, use the following links:

- Special:Shortpages (sometimes, the article has not been marked a stub)
Empty sections
Empty sections of pages should contain the following:
