Ketamine in rape.

I feel that I may have been raped on this substance, and/or morphine. Etc. It's hard seeing the nickname "kitty" ie "kiddie".. Just gives me the creeps but it is not necessary to change it. Babacosans (talk) 10:52, 13 March 2018 (UTC)

HPPD?

There's no mention of HPPD (wikipedia) that I could find. It's not serious but people should be aware of it.

@Notswiley: Hi Notswiley. You raise a good point. An article on HPPD is currently in the process of being written and will be included in this index when it is completed. Feel free to contribute to it if you'd like. -Clarity (talk) 04:33, 17 June 2018 (CEST)

Smoking Fumarate/HCL

Shouldn't there be a reference to the harmfulness of smoking the HCL (substances that would be assumed to be safe, like DPT which is commonly distributed as a fumarate unlike DMT which is sold more commonly as a freebase),which according to wikipedia, converts to the irritant maleic anhydride, upon partial combustion. Inhalation of maleic anhydride causes coughing, throat irritation. Repeated inhalation may be associated with asthma. (Reports on exposure) Maybe this info could be put in substances that are commonly smoked and are available in fumarate form. DieBeardo (talk) 01:58, 26 January 2019 (CET)

Drug Grapefruit Interactions

I think there should be a page on drug grapefruit interactions. This wiki is good about listing the interactions between psychoactive drugs, but not metabolic interactions between psychoactive and non-psychoactive drugs. I added some on the pages for ketamine and opioids on grapefruit and CYP2D6. This can lead to 10x higher drug concentrations so I think it is significant.

Stronger emphasis on low frequency of use in preventing addiction

I find that the best way to avoid addiction is sharply limiting the frequency with which I do any particular drug, or group of drugs with a similar effect or mechanism of action, perhaps no more than once per week.

It isn’t a perfect rule, but it’s simple and easy to follow, and works with all substances.

I wonder if this would be worth mentioning on this page. Rodarmor (talk) 01:43, 23 July 2021 (UTC)

How tf is holding's one breath for one minute 'responsible use'?!

Holy Molly, that's roughly ¼ of the time after which brain death starts to occur. You're just ruining your lungs and getting hypoxia, which is NOT A HIGH, NOR A LEGIT WAY TO STRENGTHEN IT. I'd remove this section immediately if I could, but I need to figure out why I can't.

Labeling drug collections

I think it's important to label ones drug collection in case someone who isn't the owner were to get a hold of it. Or even the owner decides to take something while already in an altered state or just not paying attention.

This is especially useful for bottles of volumetrically dosed substances where the bottles all look pretty similar. For example "amphetamine 5mg/drop".

Getting edit approved to fix typos on page

The typo "do now swim" seems to have been on the page for a while, and myself (and multiple others) have attempted to fix it - but since it was added by a mod, normal users don't seem to be able to.

My edits are here: https://psychonautwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Responsible_drug_use&oldid=158198

I fixed the typo, added a few more responsible use guidelines, and added sources for said guidelines so people can cross-check and read for themselves.

@DavidHedlund (page link here in case that works) are you able to approve these changes? Thanks.
