Items needed

  • 4 grams dried Salvia Divinorum leaves
  • 300ml tap water
  • 5-8 teaspoons of sugar or honey
  • One small pan
  • One glass

Procedure

  1. The pan with the water should be put into the fire until it boils.
  2. While boiling, the Salvia leaves should be added and then stirred. The water must continue boiling.
  3. The boiling and stirring should continue for at least five minutes without interruption.
  4. After that, the infusion should be left to simmer for any time longer than 15 minutes.
  5. The leaves should now be strained out and the extraction poured into the glass.
  6. If done properly, after adding the sugar the extraction is ready for consumption.

Consumption

  • Salvinorin A is not active orally, so it must be absorbed by the oral mucosa to be effective.
  • The extraction must be sipped.
  • Each sip must stay in the mouth (specifically in the sublingual area) for 15 - 20 seconds.
  • If properly consumed, the first effects come in around 2 - 3 minutes.
