As a child I grew up between a mom who was into new age spirituality and a dad who dismissed all she said. Destined to make my own choice, I researched all I could research from the moment I could read. I quickly got intrigued by philosophy and science, with a touch of homely spirituality and conspiracy theories. My interest for psychedelics got piqued, at the age of 15, by reading some excerpts of the works of McKenna.
Quickly after I first got my hands on my first recreational drug, magic mushrooms called Golden Teachers. I consumed 10 fresh grams and proceeded to have the time of my life with a good friend of mine, who took the same dose, and her dad. He remained sober, but had several previous experiences too. I have tripped many times since then, but the transformation that psychedelic experience had given me was the biggest one; I changed from a nationalist paranoid tarot-reader to an empathetic self-conscious human. I realized the interconnectedness of everything is real, and might look mythical, beyond our grasp, will be explained by science -someday-, we can only speculate and dream till then, but can't take decisions based on woo woo.
I started delving into all kinds of drugs, but had one rule; never try a pure chemical. I tried them in the following order; alcohol, weed, salvia, LSA. Add some barely noticeable psychoactive herbs in there too, but I always kept on tripping on my favo shrooms, every moment, till the age of 18, when I lost interest in all psychs after some friends had bad experiences on different substances.
Alcohol was another favorite, but got thrown out of the window too right after my 18th birthday party, which I can't remember up to this day. I so hate to lose gaps in time. So I was stuck with weed, which remains my favorite up to now. I've gone through years at an ounce per week, but has steadily declined to a third of an ounce a week. Once a year, I'd go back to tripping on shrooms, but the flashbacks to previous experiences weren't all that nice so I didn't use to enjoy it as back in the ol' days.
Last year, in the summer of 2015, I gave up on my rule to only take "natural drugs", and started trying out all these new chemicals that suddenly became available. Over the last few months, I've done, in this order, LSD, MDMA, Ketamine, DMT, 2C-B, 5-MeO-MiPT, 3-MeO-PCP, 4-AcO-DMT (I swear it to you, it's not shrooms!), 5-MAPB, DPT, 2C-E, 2C-B-FLY, Clonazolam, Etizolam, 2F-DCK, 4-HO-MiPT, 1P-LSD, bk-MMDMA, Valium, Xanax and 4-FA.
Drugs, especially research chemicals, became a new hobby of mine. They've led me away from a social anxiety and existentialism I've had since forever. Since last year, I've been going out to, you guessed it, loads of psytrance parties too, and talking about receptor affinities, effective ROAs and naming of certain hallucinations makes for a nice chat there. I've got to thank sites like PsychonautWiki for making this knowledge easily accessible to us. In return, I'm committing myself to try and write as many trip reports as possible. I love playing around with new chems and unexplored combos, and it feels like I have to share these experiences with the world.
This was a short intro to my history, and where the rest of our story begins. Trip happily and be safe, folks!
