Visual snow refers to the phenomenon in which one experiences a television-like static overlay across their visual field. Clinically, it is often times viewed as a prodrome to the onset of an aural migraine incident and can be induced by many different hallucinogenic drugs including cannabis, psychedelics, dissociatives, and more. It is not to be confused with either floaters or blue field entoptic phenomena (BFE).
