Related to your edits in LSD resp. ‎Psilocybin mushrooms: please do _not_ remove anything without a summary. In fact, do not ignore our requirement of summaries in edits. They are important, help understand your intent and motivation and follow your line of thought. Removing things without a comment while also adding other things seems outright malicious without a clearly visible intent to communicate your idea behind that change. -K

I just edited it, hope you find it satisfying. I just don't want to promote the idea that the more you take of an "entheogenic substance", the more likely to have a spiritual experience. I actually believe this puts too much emphasis on the dose of a substance and not enough on set, setting and other factors.

hey dude, sorry about that, but I must respectfully disagree wit that edit. Referring to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shulgin_Rating_Scale

Relevant:

PLUS FOUR, n. (++++) A rare and precious transcendental state, which has been called a "peak experience," a "religious experience," "divine transformation," a "state of Samadhi" and many other names in other cultures. It is not connected to the +1, +2, and +3 of the measuring of a drug's intensity.

But I do get where you're coming from :)

"Entheogen" comes from theos (god) and genesthai ("happen," "occurence"). The plant-based definition was introduced by R. Gordon Wasson, Jonathan Ott, et al. in 1970. In modern times, entheogens include all substances inducing a feeling of transcendent unity, less often referred to as "contact with god." I personally disagree with the existence of a "higher other."

Hey dude, just wanted to say while I get where you're coming from, even organizations like MAPS acknowledge it's entheogenic potential.

https://store.maps.org/np/clients/maps/product.jsp?product=984&catalogId=2&

Hence why I decided to mark it as such. You'll notice in the catgegories section I did specify it was controversial.

This is incorrect: https://psychonautwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Methamphetamine&diff=97381&oldid=97380&rcid=100948&curid=6149. Recent studies have shown a direct correlation between dopamine and the speed of perceived time.

I also reverted parts of this change: https://psychonautwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Dextromethorphan&type=revision&diff=92580&oldid=92461. Do not remove things implicitly and especially not without a reasonable comment.
