Cacti

Ketamine

2C-P

"2C-P is known to have a steep dose-response curve, with a very small margin separating a manageable dose and an overdose." - https://www.erowid.org/chemicals/2cp/2cp_dose.shtml

"There was one report of an experience in which a single dosage of 16 mg was clearly an overdose, with the entire experiment labeled a physical disaster, not to be repeated. A consistent observation is that there may not be too much latitude in dosage between that which would be modest, or adequate, and that which would be excessive. The need for individual titration would be most important with this compound." - PiHKAL, https://isomerdesign.com/PiHKAL/read.php?id=36

MDMA

“Now I would advise anyone who wants to use MDMA not to take it more than 4 times a year if you want to continue to get the best effects from it, otherwise you risk losing its effects entirely and permanently.” - Ann Shulgin

Cannabidiol

https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Cannabidiol

CBD does not appear to have any intoxicating effects such as those caused by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in marijuana, but may have a downregulating impact on disordered thinking and anxiety.[1]

https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Cannabidiol#Legal_status CBD does not appear to have any psychoactive ("high") effects such as those caused by ∆9-THC in marijuana, but may have anti-anxiety and anti-psychotic effects.[1] As the legal landscape and understanding about the differences in medical cannabinoids unfolds, it will be increasingly important to distinguish "medical marijuana" (with noted varying degrees of psychotropic effects and deficits in executive function) – from "medical CBD".[1]

4BDF powder. The pink color is most likely due to an impurity. The color of pure BDF is usually white to off-white, similar to most recreational drugs, so there is no way to distinguish between them by eye.[citation needed]

Most pure chemicals are white to off-white so there is no way to distinguish between them by eye. Discoloration is often due to an impurity. The chemicals can still be contaminated with other white chemicals though.

  • Replace `lucid dreaming` with `Oneironautics``in "documenting all aspects of psychonautics (including practices like meditation, lucid dreaming" at the main page?
  • Please change "Youtube" to "YouTube" in the left pane.
  • I suggest that we rename the gift "DMT Entity" to "Changa". What do you think?

Chemistry - BronzeManul

Kenan trust your chemical knowledge, can you please mention that you. https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/PsychonautWiki says "Bronzemaul.png BronzeManul (Benjamin): This user is our volunteer for contributing a variety of minor edits, minor edits and more minor edits. They have a large amount of experience and knowledge within this field." Can you please ask Kenan to add that something about your knowledge in chemistry, so people know that they can ask you in the channel? Example: "This user is our volunteer for contributing a variety of content and articles regarding chemistry..."

Good vibes

These GIFs at https://psychonautwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Goodvibes (used in the image slide show at https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Good_vibes) can trigger a bad trip:

TripSit interactions

These pages don't have the TripSit interaction table:

Comeup and Comedown

We don't list Comeup and Comedown in the subjective rating scales which so people cannot predict when the Peak and Offset will occur. To help then we could make an argument that

  • the Comeup is the time between the Onset and Peak and that
  • the Comedown is the time between the Peak and Offset

However, https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Template:SubstanceBox/Lisdexamfetamine lists Come up and Offset (and I suspect they can be found in other SubstanceBoxes).

Rename the Bad vibes page

The cartoon techno videos in https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Bad_vibes are really nice, they doesn't give me bad vibes, I think Dark vibes is a better name for the page. What do you think @kenansulayman ? Think of it like dark genre names like dark psytrance (not bad psytrance), dark ambient (not bad ambient) etc.

    PiHKAL

    Essential amphetamines

@BronzeManul: There are 12 substances in PiHKAL#Essential_amphetamines (see below list) but Shulgin mention 10. We could mention the other two in a separate list after Shulgin's Ten Essential Amphetamines list. Can you please have a look a this later? I think we should include the disclaimer ""One must remember that the term "essential" has nothing to do with the meaning of needed..." that I mention below. --David Hedlund (talk) 10:55, 7 January 2018 (CET)

The Ten Essential Amphetamines are what Shulgin describes as ten amphetamines that differ from natural products such as safrole or myristicin by an amine group. "One must remember that the term "essential" has nothing to do with the meaning of needed, or required. The word's origin is essence, something with an odor or smell. Thus, the essential oils are those oils that have a fragrance, and the Essential Amphetamines are those compounds that can, in principle, be made from them by the addition of ammonia in the body."[4]

    The Ten Essential Amphetamines are:

    1. The 4-methoxy pattern.
    2. The 3,4-dimethoxy pattern.
    3. The 3,4-methylenedioxy pattern.
    4. The 3-methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxy pattern.
    5. The 2-methoxy-3,4-methylenedioxy pattern.
    6. The 3,4,5-trimethoxy pattern.
    7. The 2,4,5-trimethoxy pattern.
    8. The 2,5-dimethoxy-3,4-methylenedioxy pattern.
    9. The 2,3-dimethoxy-4,5-methylenedioxy pattern.
    10. The tetramethoxy pattern.
